Elections are core to our democracy, giving expression to citizens’ sovereignty. Election laws affect many political parties, individuals and government entities and implicates several intertwined and related laws, namely, the Political Parties Act, the Elections Act, Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission Act, the Election Campaign Financing Act, and the Constitution of Kenya 2010.
